Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of major accounts, maintaining and growing long term relationships with our clients, ensuring their satisfaction, and driving sales growth. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong sales and communication skills who thrives in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for the entire process from the initial customer RFQ and pricing development, through order entry.

· This position also offers technical and application assistance to support customers, identifies business potential and added-value opportunities, and serves as a critical source of market conditions, competitive information, and overall business climate.

· Deal directly with new and existing customers by telephone, electronically or in person.

· Process incoming customer requests for quotes and purchase orders.

· Service existing accounts and follow up on new leads/inquiries generated through company marketing efforts, outbound cold calls, other business development activities, and emails.

· Supports Business Development personnel by providing quotations or other information pertaining to their customers or focus markets.

· Develop and expand relationships with existing key customers, focusing on growing current business and with an emphasis on generating new opportunities.

· Serve as a link of communication between key accounts and internal teams. Collects and reports significant information to their Sales Manager that may affect corporate goals including specific customer information, competitive activity, market and industry trends and changes, technology innovations, new applications, and corporate image. Helps in determining strategy to overcome competitive situations.

Experience:

- BS/BA in Sales, Business Administration or relevant field preferred
- At least eight (8) years of experience as an Inside Sales Representative in an industrial or manufacturing setting preferred

- Strong account management and relationship building skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and negotiate with clients
- Experience in warm calling or prospecting is a plus
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Courteous and customer-focused phone manner, able to exhibit knowledge, patience, and willingness to find appropriate solutions for the customer

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
